About

I am a regulatory affairs associate at Vara in Berlin, working on medical AI. Before that I was in product operations and design — which is why I tend to approach compliance as a design problem rather than a paperwork one.

My route here was not a straight line. I studied product design at the University of Minnesota, then business and management in Germany, and worked in between as a product operations manager, a hyper-casual games project manager, and an undergraduate researcher writing algorithms to pull real signals out of noisy binary star data. Somewhere in all of that I found the thing I actually like: taking a rule that exists for a good reason, and making it something a team can follow without resenting it.

The archive on this site is the other half. I make things — clay, paint, digital art — and I read and play a lot, and I would rather keep a public record of that than let it evaporate. It is not a portfolio. It is a log.
